O Sol works together with several communities to help increase their production capacity and to teach them new techniques. O SOL keeps a pavillion in Campo Grande where the local community develops baskets and weaving works.
All these works are then sold at o O SOL's headquarters.

The workshops at O SOL's headquarter are open to student's with fellowships.
Most of these apprentices are people from local communities and students from public schools. 
O SOL has this same program at Terreno do Mendanha, Campo Grande - RJ. These students concentrate in the skills of basket-making, weaving and embroiding. The products developed are sold at O SOL's store, "Feira Permanente de Artesanato".
